Holidays - High Holydays

The High Holydays are the most meaningful time in the Jewish calendar, providing the time and space to reflect on the past year and prepare for the year ahead. At Temple Beth Abraham, during the High Holydays, we offer a range of experiences to pray and celebrate. The High Holydays begin with Selichot, Our High Holyday services are conducted in both the Reform and Conservative traditions as well as a lay-led service on first day Rosh Hashanah. We conduct services for adults, for families with school-age children, and for families with toddlers as well as a junior congregation for our 2nd through 6th graders. For those who prefer to worship in their homes, we offer a streaming option. We invite everyone, regardless of whether you are currently a member, to share in the celebration. So join us!

  • Rosh Hashanah begins at sunset on October 2, 2024 and ends at nightfall on October 4, 2024
  • Yom Kippur begins at sunset on October 11, 2024 (the evening service begins with Kol Nidre) and ends at nightfall on October 12, 2024
